Fellowships at Georgia Tech
Most fellowships and waivers at Georgia Tech are administered by the Office of
Student Financial Planning and Services.
Questions about fellowship disbursements for current Georgia Tech graduate
students should be addressed to SFP&S. Requests for tuition waivers for graduate students
and questions about Georgia Tech-administered fellowships can also be directed to SFP&S.
Finding and Applying for Fellowships
Links are provided here at the left to the Council of Graduate Schools' Fellowship information and for the Community of Science Fellowship Database for students searching for external fellowships.
Despite the name, information about fellowships likely to be of interest to both current and prospective Georgia Tech graduate students can be found listed at the GT "Undergraduate Resources" page . If you intend to apply for an external
fellowship (and are a Georgia Tech student or are applying
to Georgia Tech for graduate school), Dr. Amanda Gable in
Academic Affairs provides advice on the entire
process of applying for fellowships, including how to write
successful essays. Contact Dr. Gable to find out when a
workshop will be offered or to make an appointment at amanda.gable@grad.gatech.edu.
Many schools and colleges at Georgia Tech also award their own fellowships as well as research and teaching assistantships.
