What amount of funds are required to be shown after I am admitted and am applying for an I-20?

If admitted, documentation of financial support will be requested by the Office of International Education after a student is formally accepted and after the admitting graduate degree program initiates a request for an I-20 or DS-2019 to be processed. 

Do not submit financial documents prior to being accepted. Generally these documents are only good for six months.
