* Only final submissions will be checked between the Initial Submission deadline and
the Thesis Deadline. Initial format checks are not required but are strongly recommended at this time.
Because of the large number of theses to be processed within a short time, thesis deadlines are firm.
Failure to meet the deadlines above may delay a
student's graduation.
***** IMPORTANT *****
- All theses must conform to the requirements in the Manual for Graduate Theses.
- The forms that must be filled out, signed, and submitted with the thesis are now available from this website.
- Some departments have earlier deadlines, please check
with your department.
- NOTE - Home departments should send
the following for final approval prior to the semester
of graduation:
- Request for Admission to Ph.D. Candidacy
- Request for Approval of Minor
- Request for Approval of Masters' Thesis Topic
Dissertation oral exam announcements should be submitted to your school or department at least 10 working days prior to date of presentation.
Questions Regarding Above Deadlines or Theses/Dissertations?
- Questions should be directed to the Georgia Tech
Graduate Office.
Send email to thesis@grad.gatech.edu or call (404) 894-3092.
