Welcome

The Georgia Institute of Technology offers master's and doctoral degree programs through six academic colleges and a number of multidisciplinary and multi-college programs.

Graduate students are an integral part of Georgia Tech's very active research life. Over 70% of Georgia Tech's full-time graduate students are typically supported by research or teaching assistantships, with the majority being research assistantships.

Georgia Tech students and faculty pursue their academic and research interests not only on the main campus in Atlanta, Georgia, but also at our campuses in Savannah, Georgia and Metz, France; at affiliated institutes such as the Skidaway Institute Of Oceanography, and the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education; and at a number of other U.S. and international educational institutions with which Georgia Tech is affiliated.

Georgia Institute of Technology's graduate programs are highly ranked by publications such as U.S. News and World Report, with Georgia Tech's College of Engineering ranked among the top five in the United States for the past several years. Georgia Tech's School of Industrial and Systems Engineering was ranked number one for the 16th straight year in U.S. News' "America's Best Graduate Schools 2007" report.
