Suspension of GMAT/GRE/IELTS/TOEFL testing due to COVID-19

Georgia Tech is aware of the suspension of testing centers due to COVID-19.  The graduate admission and international offices in conjunction with Institute leadership are working to find alternatives for those applicants impacted by these test delays and the global health emergency. We will keep this page and our FAQ updated as they become available.


The Office of Graduate Studies is experiencing a high volume of requests right now.  Please look through all of the FAQ areas and search for answers to your questions before submitting a ticket.  The answers to the vast majority of questions we are receiving can be found in the FAQs below.

How can I change a recommender?


Access "Status Checking". You will need the user ID and password you created when you applied. You will see the names of the recommenders listed and an edit button beside each. Use the edit button to change your recommender. Once you "submit," the email is automatically sent giving the link and a request from you to complete the recommendation.

The Office of Graduate Studies at Georgia Tech cannot access this for you. This is a private account and only you can send the reminder.

Please note that submitted form data is permanent, so the original recommender information will never change in the form.

If you or your respondent have technical difficulty with the online letter of recommendation system, please contact CollegeNet directly at the following email address: It may be necessary to provide CollegeNet with your user id and/or the name of the applicant or respondent.
